Application

Applications for the UChicago Trading Competition are now open! Your team (minimum 3 members, maximum 4) can apply here. The deadline to apply is 11:59 pm January 15th, 2026.

Qualifications

Applicants must be undergraduate students currently enrolled in a college or university. Applicants must register in teams of three to four members, and at least one team member must be able to program in Python. The competition is restricted to freshmen and sophomores.

The UChicago Trading Competition strives to offer hands on experience for students exploring the profession. Priority will be given to teams that do not have prior work experience in trading.

Please note that registration does not guarantee a spot in the competition. A confirmation email will be sent to indicate acceptance into the competition.
